Mass of thanksgiving for the life and Petrine ministry of Pope Francis.

A mass of thanksgiving for the life and Petrine ministry of Pope Francis will be celebrated this Friday, April 25, at 6pm, following the Rosary of Mercy, in our sanctuary. The faithful are invited to join in this act of the Church for the repose of the soul of the sovereign pontiff he was. May the Virgin Mary accompany this worthy servant to her risen Son.

Elected pope in 2013 in exceptional circumstances, after the resignation of Benedict XVI, he had become, so to speak, the pontiff of the unprecedented: the first Latin American and first Jesuit to become pope, choosing to call himself Francis to signify his aspiration to poverty of spirit and great simplicity.

Together and with one heart, we pray for him and the whole Church!
